http://firstrowsportes.net/ - source of annoying virus?
Got recommended this for a stream for the Stoke match.

Ever since, when I run Chrome - the browser I used to access it - I get annoying ads from bourne.mobi popping up.

Admittedly only 2 an hour at the moment.

Malwarebytes, Windows Defender and McAfee can't find it. And adblocker doesn't stop them.

99% of the streaming websites are packed with viruses. Surprised?
Why not throwing in a tenner on a supplier. Tvaway works well and there are plenty others

At least WINDOWS is not the problem, or even a contributory factor, so that's alright then.

As long as you've got a decent anti virus and the usual popup blockers and don't enter any details you should be OK I reckon...

Mart, thanks. As long as the site is still safe I will do that.

Malwarebytes now blocks pretty much all my streams. You can just add the site in question to exclusions (in the settings tab) or turn Malwarebytes off while your using it (right click on Malwarebytes in the task bar).

There's only one backslash on each of that address line, WHO has a bug where it doubles up every fucking backslash

If you're going to uninstall Chrome, make sure you delete the directory it was in, also get rid of your user temp files, that is:

C:\\Users\\"your login name"\\AppData\\Local\\Temp

Where C is the drive you installed Windows to

Also you may have to unhide hidden folders as AppData is normally hidden

I have done a little work on the machine since.

As the problem only occurs when I use Chrome, I'm going to uninstall it and reinstall it, and use Firefox in the meantime.

Re: http://firstrowsportes.net/ - source of annoying virus?
If I ever get anything like that- assuming you’re using a windows machine and you haven’t done anything really important like work on it since then, just follow the instructions to set it Back to a previous restore point before Monday. There are plenty of guides on the Internet and it’s really easy.

Then it’ll be like it never happened- only downside is you’ll have lost anything you saved on it since then.

I had something like this before, I'm sure I sorted it in the Chrome advanced settings, privacy maybe? Have a dig down and you may see something in there for it that you can remove.

Oops - my Mac antivirus did flash it up. Won’t have access to my computer till Sunday night though as in transit.

Sorry about that mate.
